We have been waiting for electric cats for years and now we are the first to bring Xelom Snowcats into deep powder. powderproject.ch will use fully electric snowcats for catskiing. In the upcoming season we will start a test. Delivered with custom-designed passenger cabins, each vehicle will carry up to twelve freeriders comfortably, quietly, and with zero emissions into the backcountry.
This bold technological venture will demonstrate how well the nearly 700-horsepower electric machines perform in the rugged winter conditions of Georgia’s mountains.

No emissions are a strong argument. No diesel, less oil and less noise in the sensitive area of the mountains are also significant advantages of this new technology.

We will bring the electric snowcats into a totally new environment with deep powder instead of ski areas and will use it for transportation of people instead of grooming trails.
